Kanye West - New King Of Pop?

Right, i can not actually get this. Kanye West, has announced that he thinks he is the new 'King Of Pop'. Can Kanye West actually be the new Michael Jackson? I think not. Kanye West is a rapper, an RnB/Hip-Hop singer, am i right? How could he possibly think he's the King Of Pop.

Give me a few hours, I'll get over it. But, what are your opinions on this?
